Poker Calculator Features:

The main Poker Pal panel
Poker Pal's main window is the "command center" of the software. This is where you will get the most essential information as you play: your winning chance and your pot odds. These two main pieces of information are expressed graphically as gauges for easy and quick reference. Simply put, if either needle is in the red area of its respective gauge, it's bad!
Also in the main panel is a deck display. As visible cards are dealt out, spent cards are grayed out. You can move the mouse cursor over any card to obtain the probability of obtaining that particular card, a card of that face or any card of that suit. In 7 Card Stud games, you'll notice that all visible board cards of other players are also accounted for.
In the center of the main panel is a status text display. During a hand, this display will tell you what your best possible hand could be by the end of the hand. Every few seconds the display will change and, in Hold'em and Omaha games, it will tell you what the best possible hand (the "nuts") anyone could have based on the current board cards.

Plug-Ins
Poker Pal is now fully plug-in compliant. This means that third-party developers can effectively tap into Poker Pal and provide additional features based on the information being fed to the plug-in in real time during a game. The possibilities are almost endless!
Indeed, some of the features that were previously built into Poker Pal have now been completely rewritten as separate plug-ins which load at start up. You can set individual options for each plug-in. For example, the actual calculations are now performed through a plug-in. You can set a myriad of options for your play style according to your individual taste by simply right-clicking on the plug-in in the list under the Plug-Ins tab. The pot odds processing is also done through a plug-in for which you can define whether to use implied or true pot odds and whether you want the plug-in to alter the novice play suggestions.
The Stats plug-in tells you the probability of improving your current hand into any of the Poker hand rankings. For example, if you hold a pair and you have 2 cards left to be dealt, it may say that you have a 39.8704% chance of making a two pair hand by the time you have received all your cards. Obviously, this figure would be zero for a pair because you can't possibly improve to a hand that you already have.
The Charts plug-in works in the same way as the original Chart tab in previous versions of Poker Pal. It has been completely rewritten to be more accurate. The left graph visually shows you which kind of Poker ranking you are most likely to win with. The right graph is an indication of how tight or loose the opponents are and also the entire table as a whole.
The PP History plug-in keeps track of each hand and the calculations performed during your play. You have the option of recording this information to log files for later examination.

Intuitive and Easy to Use
Poker Pal is small and very simple to understand. Instead of "bombarding" users with tons of pointless decimal figures, all the information is "wrapped up" into a nice, graphical interface for quick and easy reference.
